Our Objective

Our main focus is to prevent crime in our neighbourhood through raising community awareness & interacting with the Douglasdale police station.   Information is our best weapon - by making it available - our entire community can participate.

We will soon be erecting CPF boards throughout our area featuring the SAPS patrol car cell numbers and our web address.

We are implementing an emergency SMS system to enable residents to report crimes to the neighbourhood within minutes of them happening.    With more eyes on the lookout, we'll put the criminals where they need to be - behind bars.

The CPF organises community activities, acts as a communication channel to our neighbourhood police and holds monthly meetings so that criminals start learning our area is taking a stand against them.

With enough participation, we believe criminals will quit our area altogether.

Our sector can now also be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/sector1cpf

The Douglasdale Sector 1 committee currently consists of:-

Jeremy de Beer - Chairman - Farmall
Anthony Irving - Farmall Ext 1
Derek Warren - Chartwell
Bruce Warren - Chartwell
Peter Trousdale - Chartwell
Louis de Jager - Chartwell North
Dean Van der Linde - Chartwell North

Reservists & Other Info
There is a moratorium on the intake of new reservists at present so no courses are being run.
